About The Department
The Department of Business Administration (VVCE-MBA) at VVCE was conceptualised in 2008 with a focus on the creation of exceptional manpower to meet the dynamic needs of the corporate world in the ever-changing economic environment. The department offers a two-year full-time Master of Business Administration Program (MBA) with an aim of developing managers capable of solving complex managerial problems.
Our students are taught to learn and understand organizations and management practices through the rigorous lenses of economics, statistics and psychology. The department offers major specialization in functional areas like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, and Minor in various other areas. The Department also offers Ph.D Program in various specialization of Business Administration through its research center, which is approved by VTU.
The major strength of the department is highly qualified faculty members who are experts in their respective domains with rich industry and academic experience. Apart from teaching, these faculty members are actively engaged in research activities and consultancy. The department has also organized a number of FDPs and MDPs for Industry and business executive.
