Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has been conducting CET document verification in VVCE itself since 2013 for the Mysore region.

VVCE earmarks Rs.20 Lakh every year for needy as well as meritorious students. Each scholarship is of Rs.25,000/- . Students may apply for this scholarship after their admission.
VVCE provides hostel facility at a concessional fee of Rs.20,000/- per year for 5 girls and 10 boys from economically weak backgrounds.

A candidate who has passed the Qualifying Exam (Q.E.) namely PUC/12th grade/10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects in the Q.E. is eligible for Engineering / Technological courses and 40% of marks in the Q.E. in case of SC, ST, Category-I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) category candidates.

A candidate must also have qualified in one of the following entrance exams to get admission to engineering courses in VVCE:

  2. COMED-K  (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka)
  3. JEE (Joint Entrance Exam)

Yes, refund will be made after deducting a processing fee if the request for withdrawal is submitted to VVCE before closure of the admission date (normally before 1st August).
