Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering has been in continuous purs

The mission of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering is to sustain a community of individuals who are dedicated to the achievement of excellence and who share a vision related to Engineering, Management and Science. Each course at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering adopts a comprehensive and unified approach calling for rigorous study in a variety of fields both within the discipline and other related areas.

The
Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 1997. The department has
grown leaps and bounds since then. Mechanical Department has its own block
housing all the laboratories, workshops, and lecture halls and staff rooms. It
has a student population of 300 with an annual intake of 90. The department is
well equipped with state- of- the- art laboratories, workshops & infrastructural
facilities. The machine shop has a CNC lathe besides conventional lathes,
milling machines, drilling machines, etc. The department has excellent
computational facilities and resources both in terms of hardware and software.

New library block covering an area of 265 Sqm with reference section for 50 students at present the lib has 10,856, 24 tech periodicals and CDROM, barcode system has been introduced for circulation, SC & ST book bank facility has been provided at a cost of 5 lakh rupees...

Electronics and communication has special equipment in the area of computer communication and networking like micro controller, digital storage oscilloscope, Microwave benches, fiber-optical trainer systems. The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering has well equipped laboratories in the area of Computer Communication & Networking, Power Electronics & Control, Microprocessors, Communication Electronics, Basic Electronics, Logic Design and Computer Lab with Pentium - IV Computers...
